Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were very spacious, but still need a few improvements. Unfortunately, they were really hot during summer days. The service was very professional and the hotel itself is a piece of architectural mastery. The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to the main shopping street. The dining experience was extensive with many choices, including a good quality English breakfast. Favorite aspects included friendly and helpful staff as well as the unique panoramic view over the city. However, some areas such as the cleanliness and breakfast quality need a little attention.
I was thrilled with my stay at the hotel; the magnificent view of the Danube from my room was unforgettable. The breakfast room, although spacious, felt a bit empty during my last meal, but it was all worth it for the view.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The service was incredible, and the building is beautiful, but the rooms were absolutely not worth the price paid. The location was fabulous, close to public transport and across the river from the Grand Market. The dining was excellent, though not completely vegetarian-friendly.
My stay at the hotel was quite surprising. The room ended up falling short of my expectations with no proper ventilation, old plumbing, and a persistent unpleasant odor despite my efforts to air it out. On the bright side, I did appreciate the suite upgrade with a stunning view of the Danube. The morning shift staff were attentive and couldn't be faulted, embodying a blend of old-world courtesy and modern friendliness. The location provided a beautiful view of the Danube River and the Queen's Bridge, making it a serene choice in the bustling city of Budapest. The dining experience exceeded my expectations with a vast array of local and international dishes. As for the facilities, they were impeccable and catered to my needs. The mix of positives and negatives made my stay memorable.
The hotel had some positive aspects like a great location near the city center and an attractive view over the river, but there were issues with the room being stuffy and having a sewer smell. The service was somewhat lacking in hospitality. Dining was satisfying, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight. The facilities were well-maintained.
